I'm so glad that although it rained, it warmed up today for my birthday! I can't believe I'm 21. I'm getting older and I hope my blog continues to grow with me. I had a wonderful, amazing day today and I am so grateful for my loving friends, family, and boyfriend--I love you all! I can't wait to celebrate properly on a day that isn't pouring--and a Monday (seriously, 2014?) I would like to say that while I am in no rush to grow up, I think I am beginning to take better ownership of my responsibilities and I believe that's a great thing about getting older. Let's hope I can maintain or even improve upon that. Enjoy your day,

It's been a while! I have missed blogging SO much and finally I am back. I have actually been really busy with school work--which is extremely boring, but it has to be done :( But I've also been cooking a lot and I've been doing a little bit of travelling lately (only across state lines) which has been fun. I'm looking forward to sharing all of that soon, too!

I wanted to do a post with this skort ever since I got it. I had said I really wanted to get on the skort trend, but I was waiting for the perfect pair. I saw a similar pair online and an amazing pair on Beautycrush, but I just couldn't figure out where to get ones with the same fit. So after a ton of searching, I found these by Unif and they are perfect--exactly what I was looking for. I just want to wear them all the time--and I sometimes try to. Also, I've been getting a lot more into bags and heels lately, (as you can see) so expect to see more of those from now on too!

Everything in this post except the shorts were on purchased on sale; I love me a good discount. And speaking of discounts: my birthday is in a few days and I am looking forward to celebrating this weekend! Also, I apologize if I look a little weird :P I have not blogged in what feels centuries. I would also like to thank my amazing, awesome boyfriend for taking these snaps; thank you for using your awesome to take these photographs.

Have a wonderful weekend--I know I will!

Acid wash jeans - Karmaloop  Black bralette - Karmaloop  Shoes - Cheap Monday Bracelet - JcPenny Rings - Amber Forest, Jewelry stands

Hi all, it's been a WHILE! It's been such a while that I'm back at University now! I have my own room (finally) and I (usually) cook my own food (almost) everyday. It would be more awesome if I had a car and if midterms weren't in session, but anyway. This was another photoshoot with Christina. Let me just say that I have no idea where we are, but I saw a horse, so I believe there were stables somewhere...

Let me just say that I LOVE how this look turned out! I wanted to style these jeans for ages and this bralette for summer. The bralette goes really well with the high-waisted jeans and I like that it's neutral so it doesn't detract from these bold pants. It could definitely work for a night out with different shoes--and speaking of shoes: these ripped during the shoot!

The Cheap Monday Kloss Trott sandals, that I bought last year (half off) were quite possibly one of the last pairs out there (they don't even sell them anymore), and now they're gone :( I usually fix things if they break, but these were beyond super glue damaged. I let them rest in peace. It's alright, because my amazing boyfriend gave me the most incredible shoes in all of existence to replace them :} I think that means I have got to do a haul post! I'm almost a little afraid actually because that means I have to once again acknowledge my shopping problem... Maybe a favorites post instead, yeah? Or both, who knows!

I am SO excited for this new school year of blogging--and learning of course. I can't wait to share it with you guys! With that said, I think I'm going to go outside soon and enjoy this bipolar weather, while it's still sunny, I've got a new dress that needs some serious wearing :]
