Oh Lonely Bones

Slashed Shoulders Shirt - Nastygal (purchase here),  Leg Bones Leggings - Blackmilkclothing, Jeffrey Campbell Spike Litas - Nastygal (purchase here), Rings - F21, Jewelry Stand, eBay, Cross necklace - Diy (Similar)

Hola! It has definitely been a while! I have been working, studying, and working out like crazy (much more of the later of course.) But things are soon going to be coming to a halt and all the drama and confusion and stress in everyone's lives will (hopefully) be gone. The weather is finally (temporarily) warming up, even though just yesterday I could see my breath outside and suddenly today I don't need a coat. I hope it lasts! Anyway, these are another pair of leggings that I got from the Cyber Monday sale and I finally styled them. I wear them to work out too; they go with almost anything. I think the neon sweater makes simple black and white leggings look extra bold. This sweater was on sale for about $35 at Nastygal.com and I just had to get it. I didn't know how I would wear it, what I would wear it with or even if it would look good, but I took a chance. It is definitely a statement sweater with the ripped shoulders and bright color, but without it being too loud. And I opted for my Spike Litas because I love any excuse to wear them. I plan on doing my dorm style post very soon! I can't wait--I don't always see posts on decor and decorating and I think it's always good to do something different. (Sometimes even I get tired of looking at myself... Just kidding :)  But honestly I really love the apartment and room tour posts; it's awesome to see how one's personal taste influences a living space. I will try to include where I purchased everything in my dorm too. This week has been crazy and the weekend will be even crazier--I will admit, I am a little excited to see what it holds! Enjoy the weather wherever you are, unless it's freezing or swelteringly hot--but if that's your thing, enjoy that too. Kelly Out!

Empire State of Mind

I may look like I'm smiling on the outside, but I am definitely freezing on the inside...

Spike Snapback - Romwe, New York Knicks Jersey - Cousin's, Leather Vest - F21 (Similar), Leggings - Blackmilk, Cut out boots -  Nasty Gal (Can be found here), Rings - F21, Jewelry Stand, eBay, Cross necklace - Diy (Similar)
Hola lovelies! I am back--finally. It's Crazy Clothes Friday, my personal excuse to wear something even bolder than what I wore during the week. I have only worn these leggings once before, but when I do, I have to wear my Sprewell jersey with it. It's old jersey my cousin gave me a while ago. I never wore it in public until I was inspired by this pair of leggings I got in the  and I think it works! You know how I love menswear and occasionally wearing guys clothes. I also had been dying to style the now infamous romwe all over spike cap. I got it in August when I saw it on Juliett, I knew I had to have it, even though I wasn't quite sure if would fit on my head with my all hair, let alone look good. But I wanted to do something different with it, because by now, everyone has one. Anyway, when I saw these leggings I knew I had to have them, NY is my hometown, so I was pretty excited for these. Even though I was freezing, I think this look works with the leather vest for some reason. And I just can't seem to wear Blackmilk without Jeffrey Campbell. I have many spring outfit posts in mind (and maybe a shopping haul post) if only the weather would warm up. This has been the longest winter in a while and after I wear my new sweaters, it needs to end! Who else is ready for spring, because I know I am more than ready! Comment below and let me know! Kelly out; I've got to go recover from the Russian Ballet...

Silver Crush

I am wearing starry night by Sally Hansen, it dries sooo fast!

That is actually my door frame; I don't know why, I just wanted to paint it with clouds.  The rest will be shown soon :]
I wasn't sure about the turquoise ring, but I think it actually works with this look.
Tostada makes for a good Moe's/Chipotle knock off, especially when it's all my school has to offer *cough cough.*

Tartan High low top - Nastygal, Leather Vest - F21 (Similar), Silver Velvet Leggings - Blackmilk, Cut out boots -  Nasty Gal (Can be found here), Infinity Bracelet - JcPenny, Rings - F21, Jewelry Stand

Howdy all! Lately I have been having serious outfit-block! I don't know if that is even a thing, but it is now. I know everyone knows what it is like when nothing in your closet is appealing anymore, and well I have been feeling like that for 2 weeks! I think the fact that it's mostly too cold for me to wear anything but jeans has something to do with it. I am a little tired of winter. I mean last year I would even wear skirts or just knee highs in the snow, but either it's colder this year or I am trying to be more practical. Oh well, I guess this means I should buy more jeans and sweaters! Midterms are coming to close, for some of us anyway... That was an interesting week to say the least. I have started doing Zumba again! I have been inspired to do cute work out outfits too; ones with some Kelformity-flair. I can't wait to post them! Anyway, this is a look I have wanted to post for ages. I had been having difficulty styling these leggings and then I was suddenly inspired to wear this fairly new plaid top with it. And I seem to be wearing this leather vest and my coltrane boots a lot lately; I can't help it. These boots are like the only Jeffrey Campbells I can wear practically at the moment; we'll see about that... But what I really had the most difficulty trying to style was this collar necklace. I have seen so many collar necklaces, but few like this one. I had actually meant to get in gold, but I accidentally ordered it in silver--and then gold. I actually really like it in silver and it was not easy to wear, but I think I figured it out. I adore it! It's unique and a bold statement if worn correctly. I will admit, it is painful if worn when trying to sleep in class, which I do not recommend. And there are four different holes to adjust the tightness. But the tighter you go, the harder it is to swallow... How has winter affected your outfit choices? Do you like winter style best or do you want it to end? Comment below and let me know! Kelly out!

Pedal to the Medal

Not bad for dining hall found. I meant the platting, not the taste :]

I live in this thing!

I have been wearing the two silver bands non-stop. Please excuse my nails, they are done now though :]

Elbow patch cardigan - F21 via eBay,Tank - ThisIsWhatIDo, Acid purple shorts - F21 (Similar), Cut out boots -  Nasty Gal (Can be found here)  Vogue Hat - Karl Alley via  Karmaloop, Rings - F21, Jewelry stand,

Howdy! It has been a while, but I can assure you (for once with great certainty) that I can now do at least one to two posts a week! I am now a proud owner of the Canon t3i 600D!!! That is my personal birthday/Christmas present to me! I am in love with it and I cannot wait to snap street style! This is a semi-day in the life of post. I will be doing a full one soon. And I bought it on, you guessed it, eBay! Anyway, so my top you might have seen in this post. This is something that I would typically, and did, wear to class. It's comfortable and easy to walk in.The shorts I semi-DIY'd. I added like four holes, more fraying, and spiked the sides. I thought the color didn't need help though. I got the shorts once again at a Forever 21 sale online for $5.99! I had to punk them up a bit more. The cardigan is also from F21, I saw and it was love at first sight. I know Flashes of Style has one too and I think she said it was a bit big, but I didn't care and I wanted it in a large anyway. It had initially sold out on F21. So I was on a mission from that point on. I checked eBay very often for F21 cardigans and when I saw this one, I had to have it and it was a large; I got it for $30. It was new too! It has been a wonderful staple for fall and winter. In the fall I would wear it as a jacket. It's playfully preppy and androgynous and I love pieces like that, that are a nod to the preppy punky way I used to dress. Like here. I think I still do. This hat though, my goodness, I found out about the Vogue hat by mistake actually. But when I did I just NEEDED it. I found out it was by Karl Alley and I bought it along a Christmas present for my friend in their 30% off everything sale. I love this hat! It's a bit shallower than my other snap backs  but I love it! I am definitely getting more Karl Alley hats! They are a bit pricey though, it's $68 for one but they usually have discounts going on all the time so I will be caving. I am already working on the dorm style post and I cannot wait to do it! I also have a haul post to do! I have got to take a nap, I am working a concert tonight! Apparently it's someone famous, never heard of him... Do already have valentine's day plans? What have you DIY'd recently? Comment below and let me know! Kelly out!
